ATHLETICS AT PATHS

Although PATHS does not offer any of the traditional athletic programs like our comprehensive high schools, students can still participate in athletics in one of two ways:

Students may choose to participate at any High School in Osceola County.  Parents are encouraged to reach out to the specific school where a student would like to participate. If students choose this option, transportation is the responsibility of the student.  Bus transportation is not available for the 2024-25 school year.  PATHS is cosidered a Type 3 school for athletics, please see the figure below for more information:

The image is a table that provides information about different types of non-traditional students and the requirements for their participation in public schools.

Also, students interested in playing sports should complete the following packets:

  • Students may choose to participate at their home-zoned school.  If students choose this option, transportation is the responsibility of the student.

  • All students interested in athletics will also need to have an updated concussion baseline test on file.  For more information about this, please see Dr. Seabolt.

  • All students interested in athletics should also contact the school's athletic director.  Click here for school athletic director information.
